Hello and welcome to "Major Competition." What is The Major Competition? Well it's a web site competition, where you enter your site into different categories and compete to be #1. Major Competition was designed to help you get more visitors to your site and also to make friends and most importantly just to have FUN! If this sounds appealing to you and wish to join a team in Major Competition, then Please continue to read the rules below and make sure you understand everything. If you are still interested after reading the rules, then find yourself a team and sign up!
Major Competition is meant to have fun! All ages are welcome to join ,so each web site submitted must be kid safe. The following is a list of site types that may or may not be allowed at Major Competition..

1) Foul language
2)We will consider South Park sites provided they are done tastefully with no foul language or nudity (tough to do, I know but you can try)
2) Pornography or links to Pornographic sites (ABSOLUTELY NOT)
4) MP3 sites are welcome but they must have more to offer than just Mp3 and they are kid safe
5.)Hate sites or Racism sites or sites condoning hate or racism in any way will are absolutley forbidden.

You MUST HAVE a guestbook and it must be kid and family friendly.
1) We WILL NOT TOLERATE thieving of anybody's artwork while at Major Competition.
Please show courtesy and Always ask written permission from the owner before taking anything from their site.
If your request is not answered then assume permission is DENIED. If we find out you have taken without permission you will be asked to remove what you have "Without Permission" taken and if it has not been removed within ONE WEEK we will have no choice but to remove you from Major Competition. 2) Major Competition allows you to have your web site in another web site competition but please be sure to have the required graphics and links to Major Competition. Each fighter may be on only 2 teams with different sites at one time. If you need to drop out of your team(s) and compete on another team(s) Please notify me and I will make the appropriate changes.
3) We want everyone that visits your page to know that you are a competitor at Major Competition so this graphic is REQUIRED at all times.

This graphic is not to be altered in anyway. Please link this graphic back to http://majorcompetition.50megs.com/ Also in order to get votes you will need to have a voting graphic with a link to your voting URL on your page. This is required also! You may pick up a voting graphic from your team's page or you may create your own but please be sure the graphic is linked to the correct voting page and it is linked correctly.
4) Please DO NOT bash any other competitor while you are competing in Major Competition. If you are caught doing so, you will be asked to stop, if you don't I will have no problem removing you from the competition. This type of behavior absolutley will not be tolerated here at Major Competition. If you would happen to have a problem with another fighter, please take it up with ME and we can work together to try to solve whatever problem you may have. We would like everyone to have a Fabulous time while here at Major Competition.
5) At this time we do not allow Vote Exchange here at Major Competition. We feel it is unfair to other fighters, especially when or if the fighter doesn't even bother to check out the site they are voting for, in order to get more votes we will have a feature site of the week chosen by me from each team. other than you will need to find other means to get votes. This may change after awhile but as for now we do not allow vote exchange.
6) Competitors must have a guestbook or spirit book on their site along with a link to their e-mail address. This is so it will allow our little "Fairy Sparklers" to visit your page and tell you what a Fabulous job you are doing.
7) All images on your site must be uploaded to your own server. If you are posting a graphic using the url of the originating site, that is bandwidth stealing and you can be disqualified.
8) On each team There must be TWO fighters competing on each team for it to run. This is also for the "Heaven's Door" Level. One site from each of the twelve teams will go to "The Heaven's Door" level. Then from the Heaven's Door level a winner will be chosen. If you need to go on a LOA in the middle of a round you will have to be removed from the competition for that week. Or however long you will be gone.
9) When a competitor wins the The Heaven's Door Level for four weeks in a row, they are able to come back to compete again at Major Competition in 3 months. This allows other competitors the chance to win here at Major Competition. Also they are more then welcome to fill out the help wanted form to be a "Fairy Sparkler" or a "Dustin' Dawg" and still be apart of the Major Competition.
